Bicycle Rental Business Model
While looking for bike rental in Copenhagen (on a Sunday, [not easy]) I came across this business, Copenhagen Bike Rental, which rents bikes, but more importantly funds a the Baiskeli (Swahili for bicycle) program. The Baiskeli project sends refurbished Danish bikes to African villages in Tanzania, Sierra Leone and Ghana that are used by villagers for transport of goods, people, and to facilitate local entrepreneurial business.
